Paddleboarding along the Caledonian Canal with views to Ben Nevis was brilliant for my partner and me, we had never been on Paddleboards before and we had a great time.

Our guide Rob made sure we had plenty of time to get to grips with the board and then took us on an amazing trip down the little river to pop out at Glenfinnan. Epic!

  • What do I need to bring?
-Swimming Costume and Towel -Hard soled shoes you can get wet -Cap and suncream -Clothes to change into afterwards -Drink and Snack to take on the board Come wearing your swimming costume to make popping your wetsuit on easier!
  • Do I need to be able to swim?
You don't need to be Michael Phelps but being confident in the water is helpful. You will have a buoyancy aid and there is the board as well so swimming ability is not important.
  • Where do we meet for the trips?
For the Fort William Trip we meet at Corpach Basin (Corpach Canal Lochs on Google) which is right next to Corpach Station. For the Glenfinnan trip we meet at the Glenfinnan Viaduct Car park.
  • How old do you need to be?
Our minimum age for solo paddling is 12 We do have a couple of larger boards for Adults and Children to be able to paddle together if younger children would like to take part.

Stand Up Paddleboarding is one of the fastest growing adventure activities in the world and its easy to see why! As you float around on your board surrounded by the stunning views of the West Coast of Scotland you won't be able to wipe the smile off your face.
